三菱電　設備投資、今期1,850億円

今朝の日経新聞の記事によれば、三菱電機の2011年3月期の設備投資額は前期
の2倍強にあたる1,850億円と3年ぶりに減価償却費（約1,300億円）を上回る見
通しとのことです。

減価償却費とは、設備投資額をその効果のある期間（＝耐用年数）にわたって
一定のルールにしたがって費用にしていくものです。

設備投資額がこの減価償却費を上回っている場合、起業が設備投資に積極的だ
と考える1つの目安となります。ただし、当たり前のことですが、競合他社の
設備投資状況を見なければ、今回の三菱電機の設備投資額が十分かどうかは分
かりません。
