電機8社純利益リーマン前超え

昨日（2010.11.10）の新聞に「電機8社純利益リーマン前超え」と
いう記事がありました。

『電機大手の業績が急回復し、リーマン・ショック前の水準を上回
った。9日出そろった大手8社の2010年4～9月期の連結純利益の合計
額は08年4～9月期の1.4倍に達した。リストラで利益が出やすくな
ったところに家電エコポイントや新興国重要が追い風となり、回復
ピッチを速めている』

各社がリーマン・ショック後に大がかりなリストラを進めたことが
功を奏しているようです。

なかでも、東芝の2010年4～9月期決算は、連結最終利益が278億円
の黒字（前年同期は、575億円の赤字）と3期ぶりの黒字に転換した
とあります。

実はこの結果を手放しでは喜んではいけません。リストラの中身が
重要なのです。たとえば、ソニーのテレビ事業などの生産拠点の集
約に対して、東芝は研究開発費などの固定費を前期の1年間で4,300
億円削減しています。

固定費の削減といっても、研究開発投資、広告宣伝費、教育研修費
などは、将来のリターンのためには、なくてはならないものです。

これらの戦略的な費用を削減するということは、足もとの利益の増
加につながるものの、将来のリターンを失う可能性があることを私
たちは意識しておかねばなりません。
