お金の価値とインフレ・デフレ

「今の100万円と1年後の100万円のどちらがいいですか？」という
質問に1年後の100万円がいいと答える人はさすがに最近ではみられ
なくなりました。

そうです。今、100万円もらえば、1年後には利息がつくから、その
利息分だけ得なわけですね。

「お金の価値は、そのお金をいつ受け取るかで変わる」という考え
方はファイナンスでも最も重要な考え方のうちのひとつです。

ここまで説明するとこんなことをいう人がいます。

「インフレかデフレかによっても違うのではないか」

本当にそうでしょうか。確かにインフレかデフレかで、同じ100万
円で買えるモノが変わる可能性はあります。

ただ、今の100万円には、1年後には利息がつくことは確かですから、
買えるモノが変わろうとも、利息分だけお得なことは確かなんです。
