運転資金管理のポイント

運転資金とは、ざっくり言って入金と出金のギャップを埋めるお金のことです。
定義はいろいろありますが、次が一般的です。

運転資金＝売掛金・受取手形＋在庫－買掛金・支払手形

運転資金管理のポイントをあげてみましょう。どちらかというと中小企業向け
ですが、大企業でも本質的な部分は変わりません。

  • 売掛金・受取手形の管理
  1. 取引先ごとに与信限度額を設定し、金額が大きい取引先は、定期的に信用照会する
  2. 回収条件を早めることができないか交渉する
  3. 回収して仕事が終わることを営業部門に徹底する（売上と現金入金は違う！）
  • 棚卸資産（在庫）の管理
  1. 不良在庫（デッド・ストック）を排除する
  2. 商品・製品を売上額、または粗利額の高い順番に並べ、最下位軍の商品・製品の販売方針を見直す
  • 買掛金・支払手形の管理
  1. 支払手形こそが倒産の原因となることを認識する
  2. 月間支払額10万円以下の取引先から現金支払いにシフトしていく
